Project 2: Independent Project
Deadlines
- Code and published site are are due at 8am on Monday, December 7. Code should be uploaded to Google Drive with a shortcut to the live site.
- Two portfolio pages (one for project 1 and one for project 2) are due (printed) at the final
- Process book with Self Evaluation is due by the start of the final.
- All files should be uploaded to Google Drive by the deadlines listed above and on Lisa French by Wednesday, December 9 at 2pm.
Reminders
- A good process book tells the story of your design process including key decision points. Remember to highlight iterations and to document how research, user testing, critiques, etc. led to revisions and the final solution.
- A strong evaluation (included at the end of the process book) will evaluate the site from multiple perspectives including (but not limited to):
- Business/project goals and objects (consider both short term and long term goals, implications and impact)
- User experience (usability, accessibility, desirability, etc.)
- Unity/consistent of the message/design
Note: evaluation requires both defining the criteria of a successful site as well as measuring your site against that criteria. Indicate both where you have succeeded and what else needs to be done to hit the benchmark of success.
